Jacqueline A. Wojtowich

-PORTRAIT ARTIST-

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Jacqueline Wojtowich was born in England and received her early education there. After coming to Canada she continued her education in the arts at the Fine Art program of Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. During her time there, as leading student, she won Awards of Merit for her work including the Mackie Cryderman Award. She has since studied under many of Canada’s leading artists and is, herself now an art instructor for the City of London, Ontario.

Living amongst the rolling hills near St. Marys, Ontario, she is surrounded by the beauty of nature. She delights in the delicate petals of a flower, the intricate lines of a building or the flowing shapes of an animal.

Her attention to detail and extensive technical knowledge has led to a great demand for commission portraits in both watercolour and oils.

Jacqueline’s works of art have been shown in numerous public and private galleries. In the summer months she is to be found at "Art in the Park", a juried art show running from June 1 to the end of September. The show is set in idyllic surroundings next to the Avon River in Stratford, Ontario, home of the world renowned "Festival Theatre". This artist’s exquisitely detailed paintings are found in private collections around the world.

FROM THE ARTIST:

With today’s hectic lifestyle it has become important to me that my paintings encapsulate a moment in time – a memory or experience frozen forever and showing the viewer all the emotions and unique individuality of the subject.

I am grateful to have been given this talent. I feel privileged to provide so much pleasure and insight to those who own my paintings and who have allowed me into a very special part of their lives.
